Wellness Programs

ADWC has designed programs to serve multiple populations and we are in a continual process of  designing programs to serve every population. We attempt to make ourselves available to every person in need and who can make use of our services. It is a big undertaking, so we will always be in a process of change, since new ideas will inevitably come to mind and new people will breed unique needs.

We are currently providing individual, couples, and family counseling for individuals, children, adolescents, adults, seniors, families, and groups. We also collaborate with other professionals and organizations in the Coachella Valley who may offer services that we do not currently provide, or if we encounter a client with specific needs that someone else may be better equipped to handle, we use whatever resources are available in the desert to the best of our ability to serve every client. Our aim is to care for people in the best possible way we can. The following are some of our current programs (please call for times/days):

• Art classes & workshops for kids & adults by Leo Fuchs  (Flyer)
• Adolescent Girls Group  (Flyer)
• Creative Giving Paint Party--view website
• Empowerment Groups for kids
• Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program and Trauma Treatment Program Brochure
• Operation S.A.V.E Our Youth (an experiential program
   helping at-risk youth). Brochure
• Strength-Based Parenting
• Social Skills Program for children with Autism Spectrum
Disorders (Flyer)--on hiatus through the Summer
• Support Group for Parents of children with                        ASD--on hiatus through the Summer
• Trauma and Crisis Recovery
• And more...

We have had great success and are expanding our programs. We are currently working on opening a Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (MH-IOP) and Trauma Treatment Program. In addition, programs, such as expanded group therapy programs for children & adolescents, family reunification services, tutoring & mentoring, and resource development, are always in process.

If you have ideas about a program or service that is needed/wanted here in the Coachella Valley, contact us and let us know. We will do our best to design and implement it.

And remember, we can only help those in need to the extent that we have the resources to do so. So, please get the word out and feel free to send us a tax deductible donation (no matter how small or large).
